The dataset includes daily precipitation and temperature (mean, minimum, and maximum) that have been downscaled to 30 arcseconds (approximately 1 km) for the Himalaya, Karakoram, and Hindu Kush mountains. The input dataset is ERA Interim. The downscaling method applies linearized physically-based relationships derived from the input ERA Interim output. These data are currently preliminary because the study is ongoing. To access this data, please contact Thomas Mosier (tmosier@worldbank.org).
