The database is a collection of primary and secondary data on the Indian power sector, collected at the utility and state levels. It covers 87 power utilities and 29 states and spreads over the years 2003 to 2011 across dimensions such as operational and financial performance, market structure, implementation of reforms and corporate and regulatory governance.
