    China Five Year plans have a long history of including cookstoves. Between 1982 -1992 180 million improved stoves distributed. Promotion/provision of stoves explicit in 2011 - 2015 plan. CCA worked with the Chinese government to develop 13th 5 year plan - pilot completed [1, 2, 3] RISE rating 81/100 [5]
    Reach:
    Residential biomass use declining 6% per year since 2010, largely replaced by natural gas, LPG and electricity, especially in urban areas [4]. 250,000 households gained access to clean fuels & 75 new distributors established during CCA pilot phase for 13th 5 year plan [2].
    Goal/Target:
    40 million ICS adopted by 2020 [2]
